Picasa Death Policy: How to Delete Picasa Account
You cannot delete the Google Account for Picasa Web Albums without deleting the entire Google Account, and therefore losing access to other Google products like Gmail and Calendar. If you delete the Google Account then Picasa will automatically be deleted. However, if you wish to delete the Picasa Account by itself you can remove all of the content in Picasa Web Albums by deleting all of the albums.
To Delete A Picasa Album
1. Sign in to Picasa Web Albums at picasaweb.google.com using your Google Account username and password
2. Select the album you’d like to delete
3. From the “Edit” menu above your photos, select “Delete Album”
4. Click OK to confirm that you want to delete the album
5. Repeat these steps for each album in your account that you wish to delete
