Ning Death Policy: How to Delete Ning Account
For security reasons, Ning is not able to delete any of the content that has been added to the Ning Networks the person belongs to. Therefore any content added will need to be deleted manually. Before you can deactivate the account, you must leave each Ning Network the person belongs to and delete any created networks.
To Leave/Delete Ning Networks
1. Sign in to ning.com with email, Ning URL, and password.
2. Click “My Ning Networks”
3. Each Ning network the person belongs to or created will be listed. Click “Premium Services” to make sure there are no outstanding charges.
4. Once this is done, you can click “Delete” to each Ning network created (under the “I’ve Created” tab) and “Leave” to each Ning network joined (under the “I’ve Joined” tab)
To Deactivate Ning Profile
1. Sign into Ning profile, if not already signed in.
2. Click “Settings” in upper right corner.
3. Click the Deactivate tab and click “Deactivate”
4. On the following page, click “Ning help center”
5. Type in email, password, and Ning URL that you would like to be deleted.
6. Click “Deactivate My Account Now”
They will send an email confirming that you want to delete the account, which you must reply to. When Ning receives your response, they will delete the account.
