LinkedIn Death Policy: How to Delete LinkedIn Account
Deleting a LinkedIn account is relatively simple. Just follow the steps below:
1. Login to the account you want to close.
2. In the upper right corner, click “Settings”
3. Under Personal Info, click “Close your account”
4. Specify a reason and hit “Continue”
5. Finally, click “Verify Account”
It may take up to 72 hours for the LinkedIn profile to be permanently deleted. However, even after closing it, the LinkedIn profile may still be viewable in search engines.
