Startup Chile Celebration of Entrustet Vendder Partnership

When Jesse and I got accepted for Startup Chile, we were excited about skipping winter in Wisconsin, but most excited about getting to meet all of the other entrepreneurs from the program. We’ve been here about two weeks now and we’ve already created a partnership with one of the participating companies. Vendder of Portugal is like Shopify, but for the Portuguese and Spanish speaking market. They allow people to create their own online stores and track purchases with state of the art tools.
Entrustet is helping Vendder and their users in two ways. First, if a Vendder store owner passes away, the Vendder store owner will be able to transfer their online store to a family member, friend or business partner. Second, Entrustet will notify Vendder whenever one of their users passes away and streamline the transfer process, so that Vendder doesn’t have to deal with the process.
Our partnership was the first time two companies from the Startup Chile program have partnered. As part of the Startup Chile program, we have weekly meetups every Thursday after work with all of the member companies, Startup Chile staff and 30 members of the community. We have a weekly speaker and this time, it was our turn to talk with Vendder. Check out the short video below of our signing ceremony, complete with port wine from Vendder’s cofounders Tiago and Felipe’s home town of Porto. We tried to get Miller Lite, but couldn’t find any.
