Entrustet Featured in Gear Diary and Rocketboom Tech

We got some great press over the weekend, with features Gear Diary and Rocketboom Tech.  The Rocketboom piece is a video interview that was taped at the end of South By Southwest last month in Austin, TX, right after Jesse presented People Die, Profiles Don’t.

Rocketboom’s Ellie Rountree interviews Jesse about how we started Entrustet, the main features of the site and why someone would want to use Entrustet to make last wishes for their digital assets.  The interview has been really popular: there are currently just under 200 comments and over 10,000 views and the interview was featured on the front page of YouTube’s Science and Technology section.

We were also featured on Gear Diary in a post by Larry Greenberg.  The post overviews Entrustet’s services and talks about why people should think about securing their digital legacy.  Greenberg writes:

So whether you have one simple e-mail account, or over 100 online services to which you subscribe, it’s time to start thinking about what’ll happen to all your content when you’re gone.  If you want to make sure your memories wind up in the place you hoped they would, or if you just want them erased forever, it’s time to start thinking about Entrustet.

Reader response has been overwhelmingly positive and we are excited that people are starting to think about the need to protect digital assets before you pass away.
